Meet the Principal

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Woodward Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year! I am thrilled to become part of such a warm and welcoming school community, and I cannot wait to get to know each of you and, most importantly, your children.
I began my career in education after graduating from Lock Haven University in 2002. I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various roles across several school districts — teaching special education at Bellefonte Area High School, Marion-Walker Elementary, and State College High School. I then spent seven years as an assistant principal at State High, including four years as the 9th-grade principal. In 2019, I came to Keystone Central School District to became the Director of Pupil Services at.
I am excited to continue to foster strong relationships between school and home are vital to student success. Family involvement and open communication help build a positive learning environment and create opportunities for all students to thrive. I look forward to working closely with you as partners in your child’s education.
Together, we will continue to crete a supportive community that emowers our students to fourish.
Sincerely,
Christina Manning, Principal
